Congratulations to the Liverpool 2a team of Joan Peacock (St Francis of Assisi), Frank McHugh (Tramway), Rob Cruise (Bookworms) and John Coventry (Bookworms) on winning this season's President's Shield. Having completed all their matches they had an unassailable lead in the competition before the final round of games on 4 March.

The Liverpool 2b team of Catherine Rouse (Duncan's Doughnuts), Jan Forshaw (Monstrous Regiment), Matt McCrum (CTK Wanderers), Frances Mason (Aigburth People) and Clive Leech (Exiles) also had a good season winning over half their matches.
Rob Cruise of 2a and Clive Leech of 2b also had Full Houses. Rob in November and Clive in December and March.
